As some of you may know, I decided to adventure on a lot more long-distance, thru-hiking type backpacking trips this year. For that reason, I upgraded a ton of my gear and it's finally all ready to be shown off!
The List
All the weights above were measured using my own food scale, which is why they may differ from the manufacturer's posted weights.
*The backpack was too big for me to measure, so I just took the weight from osprey.com
~The weight of the sleeping bag includes a SealLine Blocker Purge Air Dry Bag 10L, which I use as a compression sack. The weight for the blocker dry bags at the bottom of the table is the sum for my two other bags: a 10L BlockerLite compression dry bag, and a 2.5L BlockerLite dry bag.
It all fits! Plus a sneak peek at my Canadian pj's.
In total, my dry trail weight is 6.18kg, or just 13.6lbs. Dry trail weight means without food, water, and my necessities bag (toiletries). Depending on the length of the trip, this generally adds 3.5-6kg's, putting my pack right in the ultra-lightweight category.
